Michael Tyler Furniture Ltd is one of Britain's leading manufacturers of high quality upholstered furniture. Based in East Sussex, the company has been at the forefront of British upholstery design since it was founded in 1976.
Unlike many other British furniture manufacturers who have transferred their production overseas, all Michael Tyler upholstered furniture is produced in the UK. We take great pride in the materials we use, the quality of our construction process, and the resulting longevity of our furniture.
Michael Tyler Furniture has won a number of awards over the years, including the prestigious Worshipful Company of Furniture Makers Production Guildmark and our inspired development team continues to produce exciting new designs.

OUR AIMS
Responsible Sourcing. We use materials that are sourced from managed forests. Our timber is FSC or PEFC. Where we are able, we buy from local suppliers of components.
Local Employment: Vacancies for employment are always advertised locally in East Sussex and many of our staff have been with us for over 25 years.
